  1. For what ages or kinds of learners is this resource appropriate?
    Adolescents and young adults.

  2. What is the content and is the content valuable for the learners?
This is a computer game with a Christian story line in which the 'saint' puts on the full armor of God and does battle with the seven deadly sins for the control of his heart and mind.
  3. What is the biblical and theological perspective present in this resource?
It is scripturally based, but draws from one of my least favorite Biblical images- the warrior Christian. I did not like the use of either saint or virtue in the title. Saints were martyred for their faith; they were victims, not aggressors. The use of the term virtue simply caters to the popular culture in which virtue is the latest buzz word. I also question its simplistic definition of growing up in the faith as waging war for the control of the heart and mind.
  4. Is the resource attractive and interesting enough to hold learners’ attention?
It has great graphics and action. The soundtrack is awesome. I wish it had the ability to change the gender of the warrior for female game players.
  5. Does this resource offer a variety of navigation routes?
    Yes.
  6. Is this resource interactive?  What do learners DO?
    Yes, it is highly interactive.
  7. Does this resources offer varying degrees of difficulty?
Yes, there are different levels of play.
  8. What kind of guidance does the resource offer learners?
There is ample instruction for learners to navigate through the game.
  9. Could learners use this resource more than once and still learn from it?
Yes, it is addictive. But I question how much one ever learns from a video game.
  10. Can learners work together in using this resource, or is it designed for one learner at a time?
Only one person at a time can play this game.
  11. What kind of time frame to you need to use this resource?
You could play this game for hours.
  12. What are some ways to use this resource with a class or group?
If I was a substitute teacher, I might offer this game to a kid who was hopelessly addicted to bloody, death-filled video games, but that doesn't fit who I am.
  13. What kind of hardware do you need to run this resource?
    Windows 95/98, 486 DX2 66NIHZ , 16 MB RAM , 4X CD-ROM , soundcard and speakers.
  14. How much does this resource cost?
    $50.00
