    Ten and above. 

  2. What is the content and is the content valuable for the learners?
    The content is the history of Jerusalem including a Biblical historical perspective as well as non-Biblical history.
  3. What is the biblical and theological perspective present in this resource?
    The material is presented from an ancient Biblical Jewish perspective (narration by King David);  from a Christian/European Crusades perspective (Dirk the Crusader);  from a Muslim perspective (Suleiman); and the Roman Empire perspective (Herod). Yes, we could work with this C-D Rom.
  4. Is the resource attractive and interesting enough to hold learners’ attention?
    Yes, it is very attractive and interesting.
  5. Does this resource offer a variety of navigation routes?
    Yes, it offers many navigation routes.  It is a complex program with many choices and learners would probably need some familiarity with computers to use it effectively.
  6. Is this resource interactive?  What do learners DO?
    The material is highly interactive.  Learners make choices between historical periods and types of information (such as written materials, historical characters, and time frames). The learner makes choices and clicks on that choice to move around in the program.
  7. Does this resources offer varying degrees of difficulty?
    Yes! The learner can make choices that leads him or her into more depth, and therefore, more complexity.
  8. What kind of guidance does the resource offer learners?
    The program offers learners some routes to take, but the learner can jump around from point to point in the program if they would like.
  9. Could learners use this resource more than once and still learn from it?
    This resource is so full of information and activity, that learners would need more than one session in order to begin to reap all the benefits of this resource. 
  10. Can learners work together in using this resource, or is it designed for one learner at a time?
    The material is optimally designed for one person, but this review team was able to work on the program together, so it is possible for two people to use it.
  11. What kind of time frame to you need to use this resource?
    This resource is best used with at least two hours of time.  It does, however, lend itself to being divided into smaller topics that could use less time.
  12. What are some ways to use this resource with a class or group?
    This resource is best used for individuals or a small group of 2 or 3.   If it is used with a larger class, it could be used as a showing for discussion purposes.
  13. What kind of hardware do you need to run this resource?
    Computer with a CD-ROM. 486 SX Intel Processor, 25 MHz processor speed or better, 4MB minimum Ram (8 preferred, SVGA (64Ox48Ox256) Graphics card with compatible monitor, double-speed CD-ROM drive with MSCDEX. Mouse or other Windows pointing device. Windows compatible sound card. Windows 3.1 or later.
