Theology

  • The Curriculum believes that Baptism is the affirmation that the person belongs to God and to the community of faith.

  • This curriculum tells us that Holy Communion /the Lord’s Supper, is the gift of God to assure us of God’s love, as the Lord’s Supper is celebrated we receive the gift of Jesus Christ.

Strengths:

  • Strongly denominationally, sound for children in the Presbyterian Church.

  • Lots of reproducible games and activities.

  • Theological background information for understanding purposes of material.

  • Age appropriate suggestions for use of materials.

  • The language through out the session for humanity and God is inclusive.

Weaknesses:

  • The Curriculum is strictly for the Presbyterian Church.

  • There is no color on the activity sheets for the children.

  • Children do not have their own workbook
